Full Papers

Full papers are expected to contain substantial reviews or to report on significant case studies, evaluations, developments or projects. Please refer to the formatting page for details of page size, margins and fonts.

Concise Papers

Concise papers are intended to provide a forum for work in progress, pilot studies, small scale projects, or innovative developments. Please refer to the formatting page for details of page size, margins and fonts.

Presentations

(Presentation time: 15 minutes, 10 minutes discussion)
Practitioners are invited to contribute an abstract for a proposed presentation, eg a case study or work in progress, addressing the conference theme, with or without submitting a supporting paper. Abstracts will be included in the conference program and proceedings. If a proposal is accepted following the review process, authors will be notified by 15th October and given until 31st October to submit the final version for the conference proceedings. Posters

Practitioners are invited to contribute an abstract for a proposed poster presentation. Poster display panels will cater for A1 size, 841 x 594 mm. Poster abstracts will appear in the Proceedings.

Submitting your Conference Paper and Proposal

All Conference papers and submissions should be emailed to:

confpapers@lamsfoundation.org

In your email state what sub-theme your proposal/paper addresses, or what alternative area of concern it addresses, if it does not directly address one of the main sub-themes. All papers and proposals must address the main theme of the conference, ie The Practical Benefits of Learning Design.

Both papers and abstracts will be double blind peer-reviewed.

Wednesday, 15th October, 2008
Decisions communicated to lead authors/proposers after review process.

Friday, 30th October, 2008
Final versions of accepted papers, panel presentations and poster submissions for proceedings due.
