Welcome to the 3rd International LAMS & Learning Design Conference webpage. The conference will be held at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia on December 5th, 2008. The conference will be immediately preceded by LAMS training workshops (December 4th) and a Planner Summit. The Planner Summit will focus on the of pedagogical and activity planner projects currently being developed world-wide.
The 3rd International Conference is being held in Sydney after the success of the two previous International LAMS Conferences in 2006 and 2007 and two European Conferences (2007 - Greenwich and 2008 – Cadiz). The focus of this conference will be on the variety of perspectives on Learning Design. What are the differing implications for individuals and organisations? Importantly, we want to capture the experience of those who have used LAMS and Learning Design and share some of the lessons learnt about learning design in higher education, the K-12 sector, vocational and professional education.

Call for papers now open
We invite proposals which address the main theme: The Perspectives on Learning Design, and preferably one of the sub-themes, but papers that generally address issues around Learning Design, LAMS and e-learning are also welcome.
